Planning Your Your Beach Wedding

By Sam Snailham

The concept of a passionate beach wedding is something that lots of future brides am thinking. They picture themselves on crystal white sands, with a gorgeous ocean sunset and the sound of the waves lapping up on the shore. How much more romantic is it able to get, right?

But before getting to that point there's a lot of planning that needs to be done before the dream can come true.

Howdy, my name is Sam, and I've a list of a number of the details that you might like to keep in mind as you plan your beach wedding.

Firstly, decide your financial position and stick hard to it. The larger the budget the more lavish you are able to afford to be and the more options you'll have on the choice of location.

How many guests will you have, and, because your wedding location is on the beach, what number of those guests will plan on making the occasion a part of their general vacation? If enough of your visitors plan on doing exactly that, then maybe you may want to married at a resort-friendly location.

Is your beach wedding going to be a formalised or casual affair? The more formal the ceremony the more planning is most likely going to be needed, and you could need to take a look at getting a local wedding coordinator, particularly if you are marrying far away from home.

What time of year would you like to get married? Not every beach has warm temperatures across the year, and the further north the beach the more probable it is that there will be a cold season. You cannot control the weather, but you can plan on getting wed at a time when it is less likely you will be caught in the afternoon rain during rainy season. Or shivering outside on the beach in single digit temperatures in the middle of January.

These are some of the details you're going to need to consider if you're planning on a beach wedding. Plan it right, and you'll be left with the ideal memories of where you and your partner exchanged vows. Get it wrong though, and it might be catastrophic.

If you're planning on having a beach wedding there are numerous resources online you can refer to for information. Or alternately, as I formerly discussed, there are many experienced local wedding planners who've planned beach weddings for others and know all the pitfalls. So do not be put off by having to pay professional charges for a job that you are feeling you could possibly carry out very well yourself. Those charges could well end up being an investment and the difference between having a perfect day or the wedding day from hell!
